Performance Company
At the Dance Center of LaGrange, we believe every dancer deserves the chance to shine. The Performance Company is our tiered performance program designed to meet dancers where they are and grow with them every step of the way.
For families searching for competition dance, we invite you to consider a different kind of excellence - one built on performance, artistry, and a community that celebrates hard work over trophies and scores.
With three tiers designed to challenge and inspire at every level, The Performance Company gives your child the opportunity to grow as a performer and belong to something bigger than themselves - from their first bow in our Mini Program, finding their stride as a Junior performer, or all the way to commanding the stage in our Senior Company.
As a member of our Performance Company, members must take at least two weekly dance classes in either Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, or Poms. Additionally, members are only allowed one unexcused absence per month.
Please speak with Ms. Dana or Ms. Brittany regarding any circumstances that would impact your dancer's attendance.
Mini
(Invitation Only for Level II / III Dancers)
Our Mini Performance Company is where the magic begins! Designed for our youngest performers, this entry-level company gives dancers their first taste of what it means to be part of something bigger than a class. Mini members will develop foundational performance skills - from stage presence and musicality to working as a team - all while building the confidence that comes from sharing their love of dance with an audience. With age-appropriate choreography and a nurturing environment, this is the perfect first step for dancers who are ready to shine.
Junior
(Invitation Only for Intermediate Dancers)
Our Junior Performance Company is for the dancer who is ready to turn up the energy and take their artistry to the next level. Designed for Intermediate dancers, this mid-level company bridges the gap between foundational training and advanced performance, challenging dancers to grow both technically and expressively. Junior members perform at a variety of events throughout the season, learning what it takes to bring a real performance to life - from rehearsal discipline and stage presence to connecting with an audience. This is where dancers discover what they're truly made of.
Senior
(Invitation Only for Advanced Dancers)
Our Senior Performance Company is the Dance Center's premier level, reserved for our most dedicated advanced dancers who are ready to take center stage and represent the very best of what we do. Members of this elite group are committed to the highest standard of technical excellence, artistry, & professionalism. Senior Company dancers take on the most demanding choreography and represent and serve as role models for younger company members. This is a training ground for dancers who are serious about their craft and ready to pursue dance at the highest level.

The Performance Company season is packed with exciting opportunities for dancers to take the stage and show off everything they've been working toward! As a company member, attendance and participation at events is an important part of the experience - for your dancer and for the group as a whole.
If your dancer is unable to participate in any scheduled event, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
